The Meraas The Acres project has taken a major step forward as Meraas awarded AED 2.4 billion in construction contracts for new phases of its villa communities in Dubai. The development includes The Acres and The Acres Estates, both located in Dubailand, and aims to meet the growing demand for high-quality homes from local and international buyers.

The contracts have been given to leading construction firms, with United Engineering Construction handling The Acres and GCC Contracting leading work on The Acres Estates. Together, the projects will deliver 557 villas, including a mix of three- to seven-bedroom homes designed for modern family living.

The new phase of The Acres will include 371 villas with three to five bedrooms, along with important community facilities. The Acres Estates will offer 186 larger homes with five to seven bedrooms, designed to provide more space and privacy. These homes are planned as part of a premium lifestyle community with high-end features.

According to officials, the project reflects strong demand for luxury villas in Dubai. The development focuses on combining nature, comfort, and connectivity. The Acres is designed around green spaces and a central park, offering a peaceful environment along with modern amenities. The Acres Estates builds on this idea with larger homes, waterfront features, and landscaped areas, including swimmable lagoons.

The Meraas The Acres project also highlights sustainability. The development has received LEED Gold certification for communities, showing its focus on eco-friendly design and efficient use of resources.

Located in Dubailand, the project offers easy access to major roads like Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Emirates Road. It is also close to popular destinations such as Global Village, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, and Hamdan Sports Complex.
