Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai South, has announced the launch of its new Light Industrial and Maintenance Complex to support the growing needs of the aviation and aerospace industry.
The new development will cover 24,900 square meters and include 33 purpose-built units designed for aviation-related operations. The complex will provide modern and flexible spaces for businesses involved in aviation services, maintenance, engineering, and aerologistics activities.
According to MBRAH, the units can be combined and customized based on operational requirements, allowing companies to expand their activities efficiently within Dubai South’s integrated aviation ecosystem. The project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2027.
Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, said the launch highlights MBRAH’s continued efforts to strengthen the aviation and aerospace supply chain sectors. He added that the hub is focused on developing infrastructure that meets current market demand while preparing for future industry growth.
Saif also noted that the project supports Dubai’s long-term vision of strengthening its position as a global aviation capital by providing advanced infrastructure and business-friendly facilities for international aerospace companies.
MBRAH serves as a free-zone destination for leading airlines, private jet operators, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) companies, and aviation-related businesses from around the world. The hub also includes maintenance centres, training facilities, and education campuses aimed at supporting the development of the aerospace and engineering sectors in Dubai.
