flydubai has announced that it will start daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok from 1 July 2026. This new route will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
With this launch, Bangkok becomes flydubai’s second destination in Thailand, after Krabi. The new service will improve travel options between Dubai and Thailand and support growing demand for travel during the summer season.
The airline will operate the route as a codeshare with Emirates, giving passengers easier connections through Dubai to many global destinations. This partnership is expected to improve connectivity across the wider network.
According to flydubai, the expansion also strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia. Along with Thailand, the airline already serves destinations such as Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.
flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said the new Bangkok service shows the airline’s commitment to expanding its network and offering more travel choices. He also noted that rising travel demand and tourism recovery are supporting the need for additional capacity and stronger trade and travel links between the UAE and key markets.
Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president of commercial operations, said Bangkok is a strong destination for both leisure and business travellers. He added that daily flights will offer more flexibility, especially during the busy summer travel period, and that demand is expected to grow further, with possible frequency increases in the future.
The new route is designed to support smooth travel between Dubai and Bangkok while improving connectivity across flydubai’s growing international network.
