Tensions across the Middle East are rising again as U.S.–Iran nuclear talks remain stalled and President Donald Trump warns Tehran that the “clock is ticking.” Reports say Iran has rejected key U.S. demands, while Tehran has warned of strong retaliation if attacked.
The situation grew more serious after multiple drone incidents were reported across the Gulf. The UAE said a drone strike caused a fire near the outer perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, but officials confirmed no injuries and no radiation leak. The IAEA also said radiation levels remained normal.
Saudi Arabia also intercepted three drones that entered its airspace from Iraq, raising fresh concerns over Gulf security and the risk of a wider regional spillover. With nuclear diplomacy under pressure, drone threats increasing, and Gulf nations on alert, the region is facing one of its most sensitive moments in months.
