His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, visited the Ministry of Finance’s platform at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 — the world’s largest technology and AI exhibition — held at Dubai World Trade Centre. The 45th edition concluded with a strong focus on digital transformation, innovation, and smart governance.
During the visit, Sheikh Maktoum reviewed ten new digital initiatives launched by the Ministry of Finance to enhance financial efficiency, user experience, and government integration through artificial intelligence and data analytics. He was accompanied by His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs.

The Ministry’s platform showcased how advanced digital tools are shaping a more transparent and efficient government financial system. These initiatives are part of the UAE’s long-term vision to build a fully digital economy powered by AI, innovation, and sustainable development.
Among the highlights was the Digital Procurement Platform, an AI-based system that connects government entities and suppliers, ensuring transparency, speed, and sustainability in public procurement. The Ministry also launched an interactive digital experience to educate users about the procurement process, making it engaging and accessible to all.
Another key innovation was the Federal Property Platform, which unifies data on government-owned assets to improve management, oversight, and transparency. The Ministry also presented AI-driven tools like ‘Rashid’, an app to improve youth financial literacy, and ‘Mona’, a digital advisor offering real-time insights on revenue and budget data.
Visitors also experienced the ‘MoF AI Companion’, an avatar-based assistant providing multilingual support and instant responses to public queries. Additionally, the Procurement Gamification Challenge turned complex procedures into an interactive learning game, simplifying the understanding of procurement policies.
The Ministry further unveiled ‘FinPolicyX’, a generative AI platform providing quick, reliable answers on financial legislation and policies, and ‘Trust Voice Service’, a secure channel for reporting fraud or violations to ensure integrity and accountability.
One of the standout tools was the Interactive Annual Budget Book, allowing users to explore and compare federal budgets through visual data and AI-powered analysis — bringing financial transparency to life in a user-friendly way.
These initiatives underscore the UAE’s commitment to building a proactive and flexible financial ecosystem. By integrating AI, digital analytics, and automation, the Ministry of Finance aims to strengthen national readiness, support smarter decision-making, and enhance resource sustainability.
GITEX GLOBAL 2025 hosted over 1,400 speakers, 6,800 technology firms, and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for innovation, AI policy dialogue, and digital transformation.
The Ministry’s participation reflected the UAE’s vision for a future-ready government — transparent, intelligent, and deeply connected through technology.
