Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:
Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing low-cost airline, flyadeal, has announced the launch of new scheduled flights between Jeddah and Dubai, alongside the resumption of its Riyadh–Dubai services, effective April 15, 2026.
The expansion marks a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
The newly introduced Jeddah–Dubai route represents flyadeal’s continued growth in the UAE market, with an initial frequency of three flights per week. Meanwhile, the airline has reinstated its Riyadh–Dubai International operations, starting with daily services and gradually increasing to four flights per day.
Dubai remains one of the most sought-after destinations for Saudi travellers. By adding Jeddah as a direct gateway to Dubai International Airport, flyadeal aims to offer greater convenience and flexibility to passengers.
Jeddah, a major commercial centre and Saudi Arabia’s second-largest city, also serves as a key transit hub for religious tourism. Millions of pilgrims travelling to Makkah and Madinah pass through the city each year, making the new route strategically important.
Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at flyadeal, highlighted the importance of the expansion, stating that the airline is committed to enhancing travel options and strengthening regional connectivity. He added that the Jeddah–Dubai route aligns with flyadeal’s broader strategy to expand its international footprint.
Tickets for the new and resumed routes are now available through flyadeal’s official website, mobile app, and authorised travel agents.
