Dubai, UAE — November 3, 2025:
The 5th Edition of the Annual Student Art Show (ASAS) 2025, organized by Funun Arts Group and Youth Creative Minds Hub in collaboration with Amity University Dubai, has once again transformed the UAE’s creative landscape. This year’s milestone event not only celebrated global youth creativity but also made history by achieving two world records — the Largest International Student Art Exhibition and the Largest Canvas Painting on the Theme “We Are One.”
A Global Celebration of Creativity and Unity
Held on 1st and 2nd November 2025, the Amity University Dubai campus became a living canvas of art, culture, and innovation. More than 1,200 students representing over 60 nationalities — including Emirati students, Students of Determination, and young artists from India, Canada, Egypt, Oman, Congo, and Pakistan — came together to express the message of harmony and togetherness through their art.
The event was organized with the support of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the leading entity shaping Dubai’s creative future. The Authority’s backing emphasized its vision to position Dubai as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a thriving hub for talent, while also reflecting its commitment to youth empowerment and artistic innovation.
“We Are One” — A Theme of Hope and Harmony
Under the moving theme “We Are One,” ASAS 2025 celebrated unity through diversity. The opening ceremony featured a vibrant Art Parade, a Qur’an recitation, national anthems of UAE and India, and an inspiring welcome address by Ms. Shiba Khan, Founder & Director of Funun Arts Group. Her speech expressed heartfelt gratitude for the collaboration that made the record-breaking event possible.

Distinguished Guests and Cultural Icons
ASAS 2025 was graced by eminent personalities from the UAE’s art and cultural scene, including Mr. Khalil Abdul Wahid (Director of Fine Arts, Dubai Culture), Mr. Faisal Abdul Qadir, Mr. Atul Panase, Ms. Meena Kamal, Ms. Sultana Farooq Kazim, Mr. Ahmed Al Awadhi, and Ms. Harjyot Oberoi (Marketing Head, Khaleej Times). Other notable attendees included H.E. Abdullah Al Maainah, Mr. Mohd. Al Rawahy (Oman), Ms. Kusum Dutta, Ms. Ambika Vohra, Ms. Daizy Paul, Ms. Parie Stoneman, and Mr. Peter Gressman.
Their presence reinforced the importance of art as a bridge between cultures, applauding the young participants for their creativity and the organizers for fostering a thriving community of artists.
Record-Breaking Achievements
The highlight of the event was the confirmation of two world records by the Talent Book of Records:
-
Largest International Student Art Exhibition, with more than 1,200 artworks on “We Are One.”
-
Largest Canvas Painting, a 150-meter masterpiece created collaboratively by hundreds of students, symbolizing peace, inclusivity, and human connection.
The Heart Behind the Success
Behind the event’s triumph was a dedicated team of 225 individuals — mentors, artists, volunteers, youth ambassadors, and Amity University faculty — whose combined effort turned the vision into reality.
Mentors – The Guiding Lights
Celebrated art educators such as Alok Skaria, Aditi Jaju, Amina Naeem, Dr. Hafsa Banu, Madhuri Musani, Sumedha Randev Goel, and many others nurtured student creativity, guiding participants through an enriching artistic journey.
Artist Volunteers – The Creative Force
A team of passionate artists including Aaliyah Mohammed, Adina Mazhar, Fathima Nazrina, and Nashwa Zaghamero brought life to the exhibition with their dedication and energy.
Workshops, Performances, and Cultural Exchange
Day two of ASAS 2025 featured interactive creative workshops led by mentors and organizations such as Art Splash, Art Mystic, and The Green Revolution. Students explored techniques like printmaking, clay modeling, tote-bag printing, Arabic calligraphy, and decoupage, while cultural performances by Dance Central and SNF Development Center added rhythm and inclusivity to the festivities.
A Showcase of Global Talent
The exhibition displayed vibrant paintings, installations, and sculptures that embodied the global message of unity. Participating schools from across the UAE proudly presented their students’ creativity, while gallery partners from Congo, Canada, Egypt, India, Pakistan, and the UAE — including The Crearting, Art & Talent Zone, Reem Gallery, and Artezaar — connected art communities across continents.
Collaboration, Sponsors, and Partners
