Dubai, UAE – A sea of red, green, white, and black once again paints the sands of Jumeirah Beach as Brand Dubai unveils the 12th edition of the iconic Flag Garden, marking the beginning of the ‘National Month’ celebrations in the emirate.
Located at its permanent home in Umm Suqeim 2, the Flag Garden has become one of Dubai’s most beloved national landmarks. This year’s edition takes on deeper meaning under the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Stretching across a spectacular 60-metre-high and 90-metre-wide display, more than 11,000 UAE flags have been meticulously arranged to form stunning portraits of the UAE’s Founding Fathers — the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The design stands as a powerful tribute to the leaders whose vision united the nation and continues to guide its path of progress.
Beyond its artistic brilliance, the Flag Garden embodies the spirit of unity and pride shared by Emiratis and residents alike. Every year, the site draws thousands of visitors — families, school groups, and tourists — who gather to witness its breathtaking scale and patriotic symbolism.
This year’s unveiling aligns with key national dates, including UAE Flag Day on 3 November and the 54th Eid Al Etihad on 2 December. The installation will remain open to the public until 10 January 2026, offering visitors an immersive way to celebrate the nation’s enduring values of loyalty, belonging, and unity.
The Flag Garden forms a central part of Dubai’s broader ‘National Month’ campaign, which brings together government, semi-government, and private entities to coordinate festivities across the city. From community activities to cultural showcases, the initiative reflects Dubai’s inclusive spirit and its commitment to honouring the UAE’s heritage.
As the sun sets over Jumeirah, the shimmering field of flags stands as a living portrait of national pride — a reminder of the legacy built by the Founding Fathers and the shared future their vision continues to inspire.
Visitors are invited to experience the display and share their moments using #UAEFlagGarden and #ZayedAndRashid on social media.
