Netflix is expanding its entertainment lineup once again — this time by stepping into the world of podcasts. The streaming giant announced on Tuesday that it will add a selection of Spotify’s most popular video podcasts to its platform starting early 2026.
The new offering will feature hit shows such as The Dave Chang Show and The Bill Simmons Podcast, along with other audience favorites like The Rewatchables, The Big Picture, The Zach Lowe Show, and Serial Killers. However, The Joe Rogan Experience, Spotify’s most-listened-to podcast globally, will not be part of the initial lineup.
This move marks Netflix’s latest effort to diversify beyond traditional TV shows, films, and reality series by embracing the growing popularity of audio-visual podcasts. For Spotify, the partnership opens a new window to extend the reach of its creators through Netflix’s massive global subscriber base.

The collaboration will debut first in the United States, followed by a wider international rollout later in 2026. Both companies see the partnership as a step toward blending streaming video and podcasting — two of the fastest-growing forms of entertainment.
With this tie-up, Netflix is looking to capture audiences who prefer conversational, personality-driven content, while Spotify gains access to a whole new distribution platform. The partnership could reshape how fans experience podcasts, bringing the best of both streaming worlds to one screen.
