Kicking off on January 1 and running through January 31, Muscat Nights 2026 promises an exciting lineup of entertainment, cultural initiatives, sports events, and economic activities throughout Muscat Governorate. This vibrant season aims to deliver an enriching urban experience for families and visitors alike.
Events will unfold across various venues, such as Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Public Park, Oman Automobile Association, the Royal Opera House Muscat, A’Seeb Beach, Quriyat, Wadi Al Khoud, and bustling commercial centers. This multi-location approach enriches the celebration, allowing attendees to experience festivities in diverse settings.
At the heart of Muscat Nights 2026 is “Siraj,” a radiant young Omani character illuminating the skies. Siraj embodies the festival’s narrative and visual theme, serving as a delightful attraction for families and children both locally and from abroad.
Visitors to Al Qurum Natural Park can enjoy a mesmerizing fountain and light show that harmonizes art with technology, creating a stunning water display synchronized to captivating music. Daily circus performances at the Oman Automobile Association will feature acrobatics, aerial stunts, holographic effects, and engaging children’s activities including art, astronomy, and educational games.
Family-oriented fun will encompass drone displays at Al Qurum, enchanting “Masha and the Bear” shows, amusement rides, daily parades, and performances from local and international artists. Sports enthusiasts can partake in cycling, football, volleyball, basketball, and martial arts, alongside adventurous activities such as drifting, zip-lining, and fitness sessions at A’Seeb Beach.
Highlighting the rich Omani culture, heritage villages at Al Amerat and Al Qurum will feature traditional crafts, folk arts, and local cuisine. Al Khuwair Square is set to host Oman Design Week, showcasing artistic installations and interactive designs, while the Royal Opera House will hold fashion week events featuring international designers that blend creativity with cultural identity.
