In the lead-up to Eid al-Adha, a striking albino buffalo from Bangladesh has taken the internet by storm due to its uncanny resemblance to former President Donald Trump. This unique creature, located on a farm in Narayanganj near Dhaka, has drawn enormous crowds and captured attention across various social media channels.
Weighing nearly 700 kilograms, the buffalo is distinguished by its flowing blond mane, which many visitors have likened to Trump’s signature hairstyle. As curiosity spread, both farm workers and guests adopted the nickname “Donald Trump” for the animal, further enhancing its online fame.
Every day, dozens flock to the farm to snap selfies and take videos alongside the buffalo, with many travelling significant distances just to witness this rare sight before the Eid festivities commence. Footage of the buffalo serenely mingling with visitors has gone viral, amassing large viewership.
According to the farm's owner, this albino breed is a rarity in Bangladesh, where most buffaloes sport dark-colored skin. The buffalo’s creamy fur, pink-hued nose, and flowing golden locks make it a standout among the other sacrificial animals prepared for this year's Eid al-Adha.
The owner divulged that the buffalo receives exceptional care, being bathed four times daily and fed multiple meals to ensure its health and eye-catching appearance. Despite its impressive size and distinct look, the buffalo is described as having a gentle and calm demeanor.
In recent years, animals exhibiting unusual traits have seen a rise in popularity during the Eid cattle markets in Bangladesh. Many are given celebrity-themed names to draw buyers and social media engagement, sometimes becoming unexpected virals prior to the festival.
Now, the “Donald Trump” buffalo stands out as a major highlight for this year’s Eid in Bangladesh, merging rarity with a touch of humor and attracting social media intrigue into one sensational experience.
