15,000 Workers Join Maha Kumbh Cleanliness Drive To Set World Record

A big cleanliness drive took place in Prayagraj on Monday. Around 15,000 cleaning workers tried to make a world record. They cleaned different areas together as part of Maha Kumbh 2025 preparations. Many important people, including Prayagraj Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani and Mahakumbh officer Akanksha Rana, were present. A team from Guinness World Records also came to check the event.

A special judge, Rishi Nath, came from London with his team to count the workers and see if the record was made. Every worker had a wristband with a special code, which was scanned to count them correctly. The final report about the record will be given after three days.

A similar record was made in 2019 when 10,000 cleaning workers cleaned together during Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. This time, more people joined, and officials are hopeful that a new record will be set.

Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that this effort sends a strong message about cleanliness. He said keeping the area clean is very important as millions of people will come for Maha Kumbh. Uttar Pradesh Minister AK Sharma also praised the cleaning workers. He called them the real heroes who worked day and night to keep the place neat and clean.

Everyone is now waiting for the final result from Guinness World Records. People in Prayagraj are proud of their effort to make the city clean and set a world record.
